Meet Ivan F. Pacheco, Ph.D.
Founder and President of Qualipliance
With over 25 years of experience in quality assurance, assessment, and higher education compliance, Ivan knows what it takes to help institutions in all these fields.
As a consultant for the World Bank, Ivan worked on quality assurance system design for Colombia, Chile and Peru, and academic mobility for Costa Rica. He has also consulted for colleges in the United States on accreditation (with national and programmatic agencies), assessment, and compliance.
Ivan was initially trained as a lawyer in Colombia and he holds a PhD and a MA in higher education from Boston College, where he is a Research Fellow at the Center for International Higher Education. He is the editor of ESAL (Revista de Educación Superior en América Latina) and, is currently leading a research project on the design of higher education quality assurance systems in Latin America.
